How to use the app
This guide explains every button in the driver app. For each button it says what it does and when to use it. Button names are written exactly as they appear in the app. Do not use the phone while you drive. Stop in a safe place first.
Start: sign in
You need your username and your PIN. The office gives them to you on a card.
Type your username in the “Username” box. Type your PIN in the “PIN or password” box. Then tap “Sign in”.
When: The first time you open the app on this phone, or after you signed out.
Your username and PIN are on the card you got from the office.
You see this line on the sign-in screen. Your username and PIN are on your card. Keep the card safe. Do not give your PIN to anyone.
When: Have the card with you when you sign in.
- Wrong username or PIN.
The username or the PIN is not right. Check both and try again. After too many wrong PINs you must wait. The app tells you how many minutes.
When: If you forgot your PIN, or the app says “This account is blocked. Ask the office.”, call the office. They can give you a new PIN.
After you sign in, the phone remembers you. You do not need to sign in every day. If you sign out, this phone stops getting your new order alerts.
When: Stay signed in on your own phone. Sign out only on a shared phone (see “Menu”).
You are not assigned to a truck. Ask the office.
The office has not put you on a truck yet. This screen changes by itself when they do. You also get the notification “You are now on this truck”.
When: If you see this and you should have a truck, call the office.
The main screen
After you sign in, you see the Order screen. Look here first every time you open the app.
- Order
At the top: your truck plate, the “Rest & hours” button and the menu button (three lines). At the bottom: three buttons, “Order”, “Chat” and “History”. “Order” shows your current order: from where to where, the big “Next step” button, and all the order details.
When: Every time you open the app.
- Google Maps
Under each address there are two buttons: “Google Maps” and “Waze”. Tap one to start navigation to that place. Sometimes there is only “Google Maps”. If the office set only a map pin, you see “Pinned location” and numbers. The buttons still take you there. These apps plan routes for cars. Check truck limits (height, weight, driving bans) yourself.
When: When you drive to the loading place or the unloading place.
Some addresses have a phone number under them. Tap the number to call that place.
When: When you cannot find the place, or you will be late.
- Extra info
A field in the order details. The office writes special instructions here.
When: Read it before you go to loading, and again at each stop.
- Next orders
A list under your current order. Each row shows the route, the loading date and the shipping order number. Tap a row to see all its details. You do the steps only on the current order at the top. When it is finished, the next order moves up.
When: Look at it to plan your day.
Put the app on your Home Screen
Install the app like a normal app. Then it opens with one tap, and new order alerts can reach you.
- Add to Home Screen
iPhone: open the app link in Safari. Tap Share (the square with the arrow up). Tap “Add to Home Screen”, then tap “Add”. A new “ALLSTATE” icon is now on your Home Screen. In Safari, the orange bar at the top of the app also tells you this.
When: Once, on your first day, on iPhone.
iPhone: always open the app from the new icon. You may need to sign in again there. Then tap “Turn on notifications”. On iPhone, new order alerts work only when you use the app from the icon.
When: Every time you use the app on iPhone.
Android: open the app link in Chrome. Tap the menu (three dots ⋮) at the top right. Tap “Install app” (on some phones: “Add to Home screen”). A new “ALLSTATE” icon is now on your Home Screen.
When: Once, on your first day, on Android.
- Unrestricted
Android: open the phone Settings. Go to Apps, then to the ALLSTATE app (do the same for Chrome). Tap Battery and choose “Unrestricted”. The words can be a little different on your phone. Now the phone does not put the app to sleep, and new order alerts come on time.
When: Once, after you install the app on Android. Check it again if alerts come late.
From the icon, the app opens full screen with one tap. Keep the icon on your first Home Screen page, so you find it fast.
When: Good to know.
Alerts and the alarm sound
The app rings when the office sends you a new order or changes one. Set this up on your first day and test it.
- Turn on notifications
When alerts are off, an orange bar at the top shows this button. Tap it. Then tap “Allow” when the phone asks. The menu then says “Notifications are on”.
When: On your first day, and any time you see the orange bar.
Notifications are blocked. Allow them for this app in the phone settings.
You said no to alerts before, so the app cannot ask again. Open the phone Settings, find the app (or the browser), and allow notifications.
When: When you see this message at the top or in the menu.
- Send a test alert
In the menu, when alerts are on. The app sends a test alert to your phone. The app says: “Test sent. Lock the phone: it should ring within a minute.”
When: After you turn on alerts, after a phone update, and on a new phone.
- Play the alarm sound
In the menu. It plays the new order alarm now, so you know how it sounds. Turn the volume up first.
When: On your first day, and whenever you are not sure the sound works.
On iPhone, the alarm inside the app may not play when the phone is on silent. Turn silent mode off and turn the volume up.
When: Before you start work.
- Keeps ringing until you confirm.
When the app is open, a new or changed order rings every few seconds. Many Android phones also vibrate. The ringing stops only when you tap the confirm button.
When: When you hear the alarm, stop in a safe place and confirm the order.
When the app is closed, you get a notification, for example “New order” with your truck plate. Tap it to open the app. For a new order, reminders come after 3 and 6 minutes if you do not confirm. The office can also ring your phone again.
When: Open the app as soon as it is safe.
You also get a notification for a new chat message, a changed or cancelled order, a trailer change, and a request for a new CMR photo.
When: Open the app when it is safe and read it.
- Tap anywhere to hear the alarm
The phone plays sounds only after you touch the screen once. If you see this button on the red screen, tap anywhere. Then the alarm plays.
When: When the red screen shows but you hear nothing.
A short sound plays when the office sends a chat message or a file. Another short sound plays when the office cancels an order, closes an order, or ends your problem. These sounds play only while the app is open.
When: Good to know.

When: After a wrong tap or a forgotten step.
Signed CMR photo
The signed CMR photo closes the order. The office must be able to read it, so take it with care.
Whole page in the photo · lay it flat · good light, no flash · signature and stamp readable.
These tips are under the CMR button. Put the whole page in the photo. Lay the paper flat. Use good light and no flash. The signature and the stamp must be easy to read.
